TIDAL BORE RAFTING
Tidal bore rafting is powered by the world famous Bay of Fundy tidal bore. Nova Scotia’s tidal bore rafting tours are unlike any other rafting experience on the planet. Imagine floating on a calm, peaceful river taking in the scenic cliffs one moment, and seeing it transformed into raging rapids the next. Twice a day when the tide changes, the bore temporarily reverses the flow of the river, creating incredible roller coaster rapids!
VISION AIR HELICOPTER TOURS
We had the privilege of experiencing Vision Air Services Heli-Picnic Sambro Island Escape! It was incredible to experience Nova Scotia with a bird’s-eye view. We flew over Halifax harbor, stunning coastlines, circled Citadel Hill, and landed on a secluded island with North America’s oldest active lighthouse. Tim gave us a walking tour of Sambro Island showcasing the historic lighthouse, stories of past residents, and local wildlife. Our picnic was delicious too—a beautifully prepared charcuterie board from the Italian Market paired with Jost Vineyards Tidal Bay wine.
